Have to hand it to DEMs—they can certainly coalesce around a candidate quickly. Harris came outta nowhere (basically) with super low poll numbers and is already tied (basically) with Trump.

Trump was a disaster right outta the gate in his first term – picking a new Cabinet from a MAGA ‘Suggestion Box’ back then, and recently with the VP pick of Vance—apparently from the same MAGA ‘Suggestion Box’. After last time, I doubt that most of the best will want in on this new Cabinet, so maybe the old MAGA ‘Suggestion Box’ remains the best option.
Trump’s lack of leadership ability was on display—in First Term, i.e., instead of picking a strong Cabinet, he went along with his MAGA polls. If anything went wrong then it was the Cabinet members fault. Trump would accept credit for all the positive results tho.
Yes, the economy was great, and he helped Israel out a lot, but both Iran’s Middle East threat & Russia’s Europe/EU/NATO threat under Putin grew. He also picked three Supreme Court Justices, but it was Senate leader Mitch McConnell who masterfully got all three thru the process successfully. McConnell got no credit from Trump or his MAGA mob; however, McConnell got plenty of blame & scorn from them.
What’s on Trump’s opposition’s agenda this time? Coalescing against Trump, since that worked well even against a sniffing senile Biden the last time. This time they also have the chance to elect the First Woman President.
Even if the opposition loses, they will literally torment Trump since he proved last time that he was unable to stop them. As Commander in Chief, his lack of leadership ability was so obvious that he was unable to get the full support of the Military!? As President, he claimed the Democrats were going to “cheat,” but he was unable to prove any cheating, and was unable to stop it if it did happen.
If the opposition wins – since the United States is a “federal constitutional republic” then the People’s majority will be having their representatives exercising the most power, and they may or may not continue to torment Trump. However, why torment him any longer, since they will have a *HUGE* destructive agenda to get passed.
