Trump Tally – 4/6/2025: The Triumphant Trio of Tariffs, Immigration, and Judicial Overreach

I’m genuinely impressed with the relentless pace of Trump and his administration over the past week—so much so that it’s time for an update to the Trump Tally.

This week, Trump tackled a formidable trio: Tariffs, Immigration, and Judicial Overreach. Tariffs have undeniably stolen the spotlight, stirring up headlines and heated debates, but Immigration and Judicial Overreach have fueled their own share of chaos, sparking confusion and igniting protests. The “Hands Off!” movement, in particular, has dominated mainstream media coverage, and I see it as a clear sign of just how effectively Trump and his team are shaking things up. Their boldness deserves recognition—hence this latest tally.

This week, Tariffs claim the #9 spot in Trump’s “Strong” category—a testament to their bold impact. Meanwhile, Immigration and Judicial Overreach join forces, landing together at #10 under the same “Strong” banner, showcasing a powerhouse duo that’s impossible to ignore.

Democrats & Republicans = ‘Two Peas in the same Pod

Does America needs a new ‘Pod’? America certainly needs more than just the identical likeness or similar pair that the Democratic and Republican parties offer.

As a No Party Affiliation (NPA) registered Florida voter, I can’t stand either the Democratic or Republican party and usually vote against whichever I find most objectionable at the time. I voted against Harris last November. What a choice – Trump or Harris. While Trump has done better domestically this time around, his foreign policy has been a disaster—bordering on treason, in my humble opinion, particularly in his actions enabling Russia to recover from their reinvasion of Ukraine.

Both the Democratic and Republican parties support BIG government – though each wants their own version of it. Both appear left-wing to me, though Republicans might be considered center-wing. However, for clarity, I’ll use the conventional left-wing and right-wing labels. Political terminology can be quite confusing – I only recently learned that the Republican party encompasses Republicans, Conservatives, and “Classic Liberals.”

T-Mobile Starlink satellite service – Beat the Dead Spots!

T-Mobile Starlink satellite service is the main reason I moved from Verizon to T-Mobile. Verizon used to work great here (7-miles north of Old Town, FL) – but then they moved to 4G and service here became a dead spot. Used the old $20 Walmart flip-phones for Verizon, and when my 3G one went out early this year—all they had were 4G phones. Have fiber internet so the WiFi-calling worked.

Just registered as a T-Mobile Starlink beta tester—to test ‘satellite-powered text messaging’.

When I read about T-Mobile Starlink satellite service earlier this year, I checked out the phones they said would be compatible with the service, and moved my phone number to a T-Mobile account and got a “free” Galaxy A14 5G for the two-year contract. However, for the beta test – even tho the ‘Galaxy A14 5G supports 5G networks and various frequency bands, its compatibility with T-Mobile’s Starlink service during the beta phase would depend on whether it is included among the “optimized devices.”’ They don’t have a list of phones out for beta testing yet, plus limited spots for testers, so will wait ‘n see…

News Media – TOP 5 Most Influential in 2024

Some have complained about the Republicans and/or Conservatives not having much ‘Media Sway’.

Anyone paying attention should know by now that that is no longer the case. Old Media—Legacy Media finally upped and died in 2024.

In the past, Old Media—Legacy Media had bragged about being able to help the Democratic party gain about ‘15%’ more votes. I don’t know how they had arrived at that number, but seems that it was always about ‘15%’. For awhile, it was looking like they could carry Kamala Harris across the finish line in first place—as America’s First Woman President.

I first noticed a ‘Trump Surge’ after Elon Musk joined Trump in his return to Butler, Pennsylvania—a second rally at the site of first assassination attempt. Then another ‘Trump Surge’ after the 3-hour interview with Joe Rogan.

Let’s see what Lean Left’ Mediaite has to say about about the “Most Influential in News Media 2024”:
