Trump Tally – 4/6/2025: The Triumphant Trio of Tariffs, Immigration, and Judicial Overreach

I’m genuinely impressed with the relentless pace of Trump and his administration over the past week—so much so that it’s time for an update to the Trump Tally.

This week, Trump tackled a formidable trio: Tariffs, Immigration, and Judicial Overreach. Tariffs have undeniably stolen the spotlight, stirring up headlines and heated debates, but Immigration and Judicial Overreach have fueled their own share of chaos, sparking confusion and igniting protests. The “Hands Off!” movement, in particular, has dominated mainstream media coverage, and I see it as a clear sign of just how effectively Trump and his team are shaking things up. Their boldness deserves recognition—hence this latest tally.

This week, Tariffs claim the #9 spot in Trump’s “Strong” category—a testament to their bold impact. Meanwhile, Immigration and Judicial Overreach join forces, landing together at #10 under the same “Strong” banner, showcasing a powerhouse duo that’s impossible to ignore.

Trump Tally – 3/30/2025: First 70 Days

Other than the moment Trump started sucking up to Putin—and then started blaming Ukraine for Russia’s reinvading of it he has done a good job. When was the last time an American President sided with Russia against a freedom seeking country?! Anyway, hopefully he finally understands that Putin has been playing him, and that Ukraine did not cause this war.

Started the Trump Tally in the comment section of another blog, but since being banned from there I will restart it here.

Am looking at two article for this update: 1) How a New Axis Called CRINK Is Working Against America, and 2) Trump lashes out at Putin in emotional two-word rebuke as Ukraine peace talks collapse.

“Eggs Benedict” and President Trump

Day By Day’s cartoon – “Eggs Benedict“!?! President Trump should stay away from Foreign Affairs — he simply doesn’t have a *CLUE*!?! Claims Ukraine caused the reinvasion, i.e., they forced Russia’s hand. Now he likes the idea of joining the British Commonwealth?! Trump suggests US could join British Commonwealth if offered by King Charles President … Read more

Trapped Priors, Bayes’ theorem, Political Blogs vs. TDS & TCS

As I noted in an earlier Post, I’ve come to see the Democratic and Republican parties as a “similar pair.” For over a year, I’ve been closely following political news articles and blogs, paying equal attention to their comment sections. This isn’t my first dive into their similarities, but over the past 4-6 months, this exploration has left me puzzled: why can’t two such apparent political foes see their own parallels—especially in the ways they criticize each other?!

Good or bad, our feelings color how we see people

MAGA Republican’s still don’t get it!?!

Reports of the demise of the Democrat Party: are they premature or not? Guess this is sorta like a Part 2 of this previous post here: Democrats & Republicans = ‘Two Peas in the same Pod’. Will even use the main pic again.

Both “Peas” are convinced they’ve got killer messages—while simultaneously dismissing the other’s as “stale.” Both spend endless energy pointing fingers at each other’s flaws, yet after every election win, they strut around claiming a “mandate.” Trump, of course, called his “massive”—though exaggeration’s kinda his thing.

Let’s look at the scoreboard since 1961:
