It\u2019s hard to trust anything from legacy or new media these days. As a frequent reader of Conservative news and blog sites, I skim and\/or read the comment sections of only three to five of them. Truth seems irrelevant there\u2014protecting President Trump is the sole priority.<\/p>\n
A quick glance at legacy, Progressive, and other Democrat-leaning news and blog sites reveals why \u2018Right-Peas<\/b><\/a>\u2019 feel compelled to shield Trump, even at the expense of truth. The Left\u2019s obsession with demonizing him fuels this defensive reflex.<\/p>\n Both Republicans\u2019 TCS<\/b> (Trump Cultist Syndrome) and Democrats\u2019 TDS<\/b> (Trump Derangement Syndrome) are equally nauseating to those of us outside the GOP and Dem echo chambers.<\/p>\n That said, President Trump and his administration have delivered an impressive performance over the last 100 days!<\/p>\n The Trump Tally \u2013 4\/6\/2025: The Triumphant Trio of Tariffs, Immigration, and Judicial Overreach<\/b><\/a> post remains a key indicator of Trump\u2019s early second-term priorities. These complex issues will take time to resolve, for better or worse, so no new additions fall under the \u201cStrong\u201d category in today\u2019s Tally <\/i>update.<\/p>\n Thinking about future Tally<\/em> updates: Will store shelves be empty? Will the price of my new glasses increase after this week?<\/p>\n CRINK<\/b><\/a>\u2014the growing axis of authoritarian states (China, Russia, Iran, North Korea)\u2014poses a serious challenge. Trump was soft on Russia and Iran during his first term, and this weakness has persisted into his first 100 days this time.<\/p>\n Trump is finally waking up to the fact that Putin has been playing him during negotiations. Worse, he\u2019s foolishly blamed Ukraine for starting a war that was already raging during his first term, while repeatedly condemning, threatening, ridiculing, and insulting President Zelenskyy.<\/p>\n Iran remains a sticking point. Trump touts peace, but words are cheap, and I’m skeptical. The growing influence of CRINK<\/b>, Putin\u2019s \u2018tapping<\/b><\/i><\/a>\u2019 Trump along, and stalled Iran peace efforts land this issue at #8 in the \u201cWeak\u201d category of this Tally<\/i> update.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Strong<\/span>: <\/b><\/p>\n 1) Pre-Jan 20 was very well <\/b>organized w\/ Trump quiet. CoS Susie Wiles has done a great job!<\/p>\n 2) Quickly picked Admin & staff pre-Jan 20.<\/p>\n 3) Inauguration Day 2025 shows total preparation made by good leader \u2013 unlike being unprepared during his first term.<\/p>\n 4) Moved fast on illegal immigration promises \u2013 plus lots of helpful EO\u2019s.<\/p>\n 5) Have to give Trump a Strong<\/b> on his choice of Pete Hegseth as SoD \u2013 and solid work by the GOP Senate to get him confirmed!<\/p>\n 6) Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) continues to expose government waste, cutting regulations, and restructuring federal agencies. Early impact has been *AMAZING<\/b>*!<\/p>\n 7) Trump calls Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MbS<\/b>) a “fantastic guy,” and I also like him. Hey, we think our Far-left dissidents are bad, but compared to Saudi Arabia\u2019s dissidents ours are closer to a Mother Teresa. Trump bringing MbS<\/b> in to host a summit between himself and Putin is a great move. A great move that builds a stronger relationship with MbS<\/b>, empowers MbS<\/b>, whilst also opening negotiating \u2018Doors<\/i>\u2019 for talks with Russia and Iran.<\/p>\n 8) Has stood by his Team during the Signal disaster so far, which I respect, so am adding this to the Strong<\/b> category on 3\/30\/25. In his first term Trump was quick to blame and to dismiss, but has been more composed this time\u2014other than the Russia\/Ukraine war. The Team was made up of mostly inexperienced people, so some early slip-ups are to be expected.<\/p>\n 9) 4\/6\/25 update: Tariffs roared onto the scene last week, as a massive addition to Trump\u2019s playbook\u2014and they\u2019ve got both sides of the aisle sweating. Republicans are jittery, split down the middle, with many clutching their pearls and warning of a midterm \u201cbloodbath\u201d if the Tariffs backfire. Democrats, meanwhile, have unleashed their “Hands Off!” movement, rallying around cries of \u201cfunding cuts and a spiraling trade war.\u201d Those cuts are torching the DEM\u2019s secret cash reserves & hidden vote buying money, leaving them desperate and praying for Trump\u2019s Tariff gambit to flop. But here\u2019s the kicker: I\u2019m taking their protests and pleas as glowing proof that Trump\u2019s Tariff agenda is hitting all the right nerves\u2014an indicator that many DEMs fear that Trump\u2019s Tariffs are going to work.<\/p>\n 10) Immigration and Judicial Overreach have been festering problems, long overdue for a reckoning\u2014and Trump and his administration have finally stepped up to the plate. They\u2019ve zeroed in on both whilst looking for \u201cfixes\u201d that will shakeup the status quo to its core. On immigration, Trump\u2019s team is doubling down, tightening borders and slashing loopholes that have been exploited for years, much to the chagrin of open-border advocates. Meanwhile, the Judicial Overreach crackdown is targeting activist judges and bloated court rulings, aiming to restore balance and rein in decades of unchecked oversteps. These moves aren\u2019t just Band-Aids\u2014they\u2019re sledgehammers to a broken system, and the howls of protest from the usual suspects only prove how badly these reforms were needed.<\/p>\n Weak<\/span>:<\/b><\/p>\n 1) Failed to end Russia-Ukraine war within 24 hours.<\/p>\n 2) Re-designates Iranian-backed Houthis as terrorists \u2013 lets Iran continue to back them!?!<\/p>\n 3) neo called it an \u201cunforced error<\/b>\u201d on Trump\u2019s part. Most commenters agreed. ‘Twas an internet vision of Trump starring as the Hare in \u2018The Tortoise and the Hare<\/i>\u2019. Horrid response to Air collision above the Potomac \u2013 horrid response to a National Tragedy. Probably doesn’t bode well for confidence in his future response\/s to a National Emergency\u2026?<\/p>\n 4) Still early into the Breaking News<\/b> about \u2018Second Buddy<\/i>\u2019 Putin and President Trump opening negotiations on Ukraine\u2019s future; however, if this is Trump\u2019s opening move in the negotiations, it is an incredibly ill-informed and\/or naive one. Thusly<\/i>, such an opening deserves a spot under the Weak<\/b> category on the Trump Tally…Geez!?<\/p>\n 5) President Trump may have been a *BIG<\/b>* \u2018wheeling-dealing fish<\/i>\u2019 in the New York pond, but it is starting to look like he is outta his league in bigger waters. His opening negotiations with Putin has earned him a comparison to Neville Chamberlain<\/b>\u2014an unfortunate comparison that seems to be sticking. To make matters even worse, \u2018US officials have backtracked<\/i>\u2019 – that will be President Trump backtracking on his ridiculous opening negotiation offer to Putin of \u2018<\/b>Nato membership and US security guarantees were off the table for Ukraine<\/b><\/i>\u2019<\/b>.<\/p>\n 6)<\/b> This one will remain in bold\u2014a 100% disaster for America. Have never saw such horrid American Diplomacy\u2014Trump & Vance were both disaster, with Vance leading the way, but both showed their Aggressive, Loud, Rude, Angry, and Undiplomatic sides<\/a>. Ukraine has been fighting Russia\u2019s aggression for over 10 years now, so hopefully they can recover from Trumps horrid mistakes. The CRINK <\/b><\/a>Axis has showed Trump\u2019s flaws \u2013 in that he attempts to coddle Russia whilst warning Iran\u2014and to some degree North Korea also. Maybe Trump has finally realized that Putin is Playing<\/b><\/i><\/a> him in these negotiations\u2026 \ud83e\udd1e (NOTE: new 3\/30\/2025 add to Weak category)<\/p>\n 8)<\/strong> 4\/29\/2025 Update: President Trump has continued to show weakness towards Russia and Iran over his First 100 Days in Office. Meanwhile, CRINK<\/b>\u2014the growing axis of authoritarian states (China, Russia, Iran, North Korea)\u2014poses a serious challenge. Fortunately, he has finally realized that Putin has been \u2018tapping<\/b><\/i><\/a>\u2019 him along \u2013 maybe soon he will also realize that Iran is doing the same. He needs to stop helping Putin rebuild the failed Russian military, i.e., give Ukraine the long range weapons they need and increase the other weapons & ammo that Ukraine has been receiving. Even Sen.
