\u2018Reports of the demise of the Democrat Party: are they premature or not?<\/b><\/i><\/a>\u2019<\/b> Guess this is sorta like a Part 2 of this previous post here: Democrats & Republicans = \u2018Two Peas in the same Pod\u2019<\/a>. Will even use the main pic again.<\/p>\n Both \u201cPeas\u201d are convinced they\u2019ve got killer messages\u2014while simultaneously dismissing the other\u2019s as \u201cstale.\u201d Both spend endless energy pointing fingers at each other\u2019s flaws, yet after every election win, they strut around claiming a \u201cmandate.\u201d Trump, of course, called his \u201cmassive<\/b><\/a>\u201d\u2014though exaggeration\u2019s kinda his thing.<\/p>\n Let\u2019s look at the scoreboard since 1961:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n D<\/b> \u2013 John F. Kennedy. D<\/b> \u2013 Lyndon B. Johnson. R<\/b> \u2013 Richard Nixon. R<\/b> \u2013 Gerald Ford. D<\/b> \u2013 Jimmy Carter. R<\/b> \u2013 Ronald Reagan. R<\/b> \u2013 George H. W. Bush. D<\/b> \u2013 Bill Clinton. R<\/b> \u2013 George W. Bush. D<\/b> \u2013 Barack Obama. R<\/b> \u2013 Donald Trump. D<\/b> \u2013 Joe Biden. R<\/b> \u2013 Donald Trump.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n \u2018Whiplash<\/i>\u2019 Presidencies of \u201cmandates\u201d \u2026 so to speak of 6 Democrat Presidents, and 6 Republican Presidents since 1961.<\/p>\n 64 years of back and forth. Why? They didn\u2019t do a good enough job for the People, IMHO. George H. W. Bush may have been the best of the lot\u2014got in a War, won it, and got out.<\/p>\n Trump lost me with his aiding Russia outta their dire straits. Is he America\u2019s first President to aid our longtime enemy Russia against a country fighting for their freedom?<\/p>\n To answer neo\u2019s question about reports of the \u201cdemise of the Democrat Party\u201d being \u201cpremature or not\u201d.
