Anyone paying attention should know by now that that<\/strong> is no longer the case. Old Media\u2014Legacy Media finally upped and died in 2024.<\/p>\n In the past, Old Media\u2014Legacy Media had bragged about being able to help the Democratic party gain about \u201815%<\/i>\u2019 more votes. I don\u2019t know how they had arrived at that number, but seems that it was always about \u201815%<\/i>\u2019. For awhile, it was looking like they could carry Kamala Harris across the finish line in first place\u2014as America\u2019s First Woman President.<\/p>\n I first noticed a \u2018Trump Surge<\/i>\u2019 after Elon Musk joined Trump in his return to Butler, Pennsylvania\u2014a second rally at the site of first assassination attempt. Then another \u2018Trump Surge<\/i>\u2019 after the 3-hour interview with Joe Rogan.<\/p>\n Let\u2019s see what \u2018<\/b>Lean Left<\/b><\/i>\u2019 Mediaite<\/b><\/a> has to say about about the \u201cMost Influential in News Media 2024\u201d:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mediaite’s article covers the 75 \u201cMost Influential in News Media 2024\u201d \u2013 but seeing the \u2018Trump Surge\/<\/i>s<\/i>\u2019 after Elon Musk\u2019s coming out in support, and then the interview with Joe Rogan, I found the Mediaite\u2019s TOP 5<\/b><\/a> most interesting:<\/p>\n 5. Sean Hannity<\/b> (ME: No surprise there)<\/p>\n 4. Charlamagne tha God<\/b> (ME: surprise there, and have never watched him, but saw lots of news about him during the election cycle)<\/p>\n 3. Suzanne Scott<\/b> (ME: barely know anything about her; however, she has obviously been doing an excellent job for Fox)<\/p>\n 2. Joe Rogan<\/b> (ME: another one who I\u2019ve never watched, but also saw lots of news about him)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n OK\u2014Elon Musk has been a favorite of mine since he stole Twitter from the Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, MSM, etc. I have a yearly subscription with X \u2013 my show of support for a $500-Billion man. \ud83d\ude09 Mediaite<\/b><\/a> does an excellent job in their write-up on him, and I wanted a quote section of snippets from it:<\/p>\n 1. Elon Musk <\/b>(ME: surprised that Mediaite placed him in the #1 spot, but admire them for doing so. Clearly the strongest Influencer in Social Media \u2013 and in News Media 2024. The result is a media ecosystem where pro-Trump opinion is a far more mainstream part of the national consciousness than it ever was.<\/p>\n \u2022 It\u2019s Musk\u2019s decision to ally himself with Trump that really cements his position at the summit of this list<\/b>. Despite vowing to stay neutral in the election and refusing to donate to \u201ceither candidate\u201d earlier this year, Musk declared his support for Trump shortly after the assassination attempt in Butler.<\/p>\n \u2022 That endorsement, arguably more than anything, can be credited with swaying a close election<\/b>.<\/p>\n \u2022 Musk has declared with increasing frequency that the mainstream media is dead and his platform X is the media now.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n At #6 were Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski\u2014who ‘Bent the Knee<\/em>‘ to Trump. At #10 was Megyn Kelly, who I thought came on strong early during 2024. At #16 was Ben Shapiro\u2014haven’t followed him, but name kept coming up in news cycle. At #26 was Stephen A. Smith\u2014from sports he still kept showing up during the election cycle. At #27 was Tucker Carlson\u2014lost me early in 2024 when he came out against Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Old Media\u2014Legacy Media may not be totally dead, just yet<\/em>, and some are attempting to fix what has become wrong with them.
