Should\u2019ve made this a three \u2018Parter<\/i>\u2019. \ud83d\ude42 Anyway<\/i>, my Dell XPS 13 and three desktops I \u2018Built<\/b><\/i><\/a>\u2019 have all been up graded to Windows 11 Pro\u2014Version 23H2 and OS build 22631.2506.<\/p>\n Everything went fine \u2013 except for two minor issues. One issue was with an app, but resolved that (more on that later<\/i>). The other issue was with the Create Windows 11 Installation Media<\/b><\/a> that was tested (more on that later<\/i>).<\/p>\n Windows 11 23H2 update \u2013 Dell laptop got it already<\/b><\/i><\/a> post covered the standard Windows Settings > Windows Update method \u2013 when an update notice \u201cpopped up saying that the 23H2 update was ready\u201d. That update method used \u2013 \u2018How to get it<\/b><\/i><\/a>: servicing technology (like that used for the monthly update process), providing a fast installation experience.<\/i>\u2019 That method took only a few minutes\u2014very FAST!<\/b><\/p>\n Windows 11 23H2 update \u2013 install it using the Installation Assistant<\/a> <\/b><\/i>post covered using the Windows 11 Installation Assistant<\/b><\/a> method. That method was much slower than the standard Windows update delivery\u2014taking between 35-45 minutes on different desktops, and at different times. ISP connection speeds could make the method faster or slower, but still not as fast as the standard delivery.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
