Rushed out to my <b>BIG<\/b> mailbox &#8216;n it had a big package from Amazon in it. <b>\\o\/ \u2018<\/b><i><b>Hippity hip Hoorah<\/b><\/i><b>\u2018 \\o\/<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Back at the &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/karmismusingstech.com\/index.php\/2023\/01\/11\/home-hut-exterior-maintenance-blogs-blogging-on-standby\/\"><i><b>Hut<\/b><\/i><\/a>&#8216; the package was opened \u2013 <b>WTF!?! <\/b>The Noctua fan\/cooler was in it, but no $509.99 Intel CPU. \ud83e\udd14 Went inside and logged into Amazon, and it said the package was &#8220;Delivered Today&#8221; so I opened that notice &#8216;n it showed the Noctua fan\/cooler &amp; something weird looking:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2680 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/karmismusingstech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/11d-camera-lens.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"209\" height=\"262\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That 2.75&#8243; x 2.75&#8243; x 0.125 lens package was at the bottom of the shipping box \u2013 <i>barely noticeable<\/i> when looking for an Intel<a href=\"https:\/\/www.intel.com\/content\/www\/us\/en\/products\/sku\/230496\/intel-core-i913900k-processor-36m-cache-up-to-5-80-ghz\/specifications.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>\u00ae Core\u2122 i9-13900K<\/b><\/a> CPU!?!<\/p>\n<p><i>Long story short<\/i> \u2013 Amazon said they were at fault, for the item that seller MyCCIC sold me, and said they would refund my money. I said \u2013 just ship me the processor because I don&#8217;t mind waiting for it. They said \u2013 &#8216;<i>No, we have to refund your money<\/i>&#8216;. That &#8220;$50 drop in the price&#8221; was just too good to have been true! \ud83d\ude09 <em>Besides<\/em>, I think some sellers just do it to get your attention.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Refund_New_Order\"><\/span>Refund &amp; New Order<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Refund of $545.69 including tax, and I&#8217;ll get into the new costs in a moment; <em>however<\/em>, at this point my math could be off a little, because I am tired of keeping the costs. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>I had already started spending money, so I wasn&#8217;t going to wait for another price drop on that i9 13900K:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2682 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/karmismusingstech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/11b-new-order.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"925\" srcset=\"https:\/\/karmismusingstech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/11b-new-order.jpg 900w, https:\/\/karmismusingstech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/11b-new-order-486x500.jpg 486w, https:\/\/karmismusingstech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/11b-new-order-768x789.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m no gamer, but Newegg was giving a free &#8220;Total War WARHAMMER III&#8221; &amp; a $20 discount, which made it $559.99 w\/ $39.20 Tax = $599.99 &#8216;n free shipping.<\/p>\n<p>$599.99 &#8211; $545.69 = <b>$54.30<\/b> added to total costs so far.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"NEW_%E2%80%93_Total_Costs_so_far\"><\/span>NEW \u2013 Total Costs (<i><u>so far<\/u><\/i>)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I had been in no rush to buy that Intel<a href=\"https:\/\/www.intel.com\/content\/www\/us\/en\/products\/sku\/230496\/intel-core-i913900k-processor-36m-cache-up-to-5-80-ghz\/specifications.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>\u00ae Core\u2122 i9-13900K<\/b><\/a> CPU &#8216;n was willing to wait for a good drop in price. I&#8217;ll end up w\/ an extra 16 GBs (2\u00d78) of old RAM, but a few spare GBs can come in handy sometimes, e.g., testing and\/or an emergency. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I also like to keep my OS on a smaller drive \u2013 separate from Data drives &#8216;n such.
